Building meaningful relationships and fostering trust with my patients is the best part of my job. I want patients to feel respected and heard by their health care team. How patients feel — and what they have to say — matters.As a hematology oncology nurse practitioner, I want patients to know the facts about their health to make informed decisions.Working in malignant hematology is very rewarding. I value my long-term relationships with my patients and enjoy working in a team to care for them. I also enjoy doing procedures in my daily practice, including bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures.
