I'm a strong proponent of shared decision making in medicine and patient-centered care. My clinical expertise and interests are in the surgical and medical management of stone disease and prostate conditions, including Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP), Supine Mini-PCNL, ultrasound guidance for percutaneous renal surgery, Endoscopic Combined Intrarenal Surgery, Ambulatory PCNL and HoLEP.As an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Vermont, I'm actively involved in training future generations of physicians and surgeons. My research interests include ionizing radiation exposure during urologic surgery, peri-operative infectious complications, regional and national practice patterns in urology, application of novel surgical tools and techniques and understanding bias in medical education and practice.I'm a member of the American Urological Association, Endourological Society, New England AUA, Fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Canadian Urological Association.
