I was drawn to medicine by a desire to combine my interest in science with my love for working with people. I find it deeply rewarding to support individuals as they set and achieve personal goals while navigating social, psychological and physical challenges.Over time, I’ve developed expertise in treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges in both youth and adults. I’m especially passionate about helping people find recovery and meaning amid ongoing life stressors. I’ve experienced the profound impact of both loss and recovery in my patients, and these moments have shaped my approach to care. What moves me most is witnessing individuals continue to pursue wellness and healing, even when illness has significantly disrupted their lives.Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing and coaching soccer, hiking, camping and exploring the natural world.
