As a psychiatrist, I aim to understand each person's lived experience to offer culturally humble, compassionate, individualized and family-centered care.I embrace both the humanistic and scientific aspects of the field, recognizing that there is much to learn about how we characterize and address mental health challenges while effectively promoting mental health and wellness.I approach each patient with curiosity and creativity, understanding that a sense of belonging and building community — however one defines it — are essential elements in reducing suffering and inspiring hope.
