Description
I enjoy working with patients and their families to understand how their brains work. It feels very rewarding to help folks understand their strengths and weaknesses and what might help improve their quality of life.I also love talking about all things brain-related, and I am grateful that my job and my patients allow me to do that every day.I approach my work as a collaborative effort with the patient, their loved ones and myself. They are the experts on their lives and the concerns they hope to address, and I am the expert on brain-behavior relationships.My job is to integrate all the data and work with the patient and family to turn it into answers to their questions and a roadmap for what to do next.
